BEL Inc. (headquartered in Sakai, Osaka) announces that its representative director, Hideyuki Kanematsu, delivered a presentation entitled "Simulation-Based Evaluation of Shear Stress Distribution and Biofilm Formation in a Concentric Biofilm Reactor Using Powder Flow Software" at the 4th Advanced Materials Grand Meeting (MRM2025) held in Yokohama. In this presentation, simulation software developed by Prometec Software GmbH was employed to calculate shear stress at various locations within the biofilm reactor, and the optimal reactor design was discussed.
